Top cop 'had dirty knickers from fetish website delivered to his police station'

A senior police officer ordered a pair of dirty knickers from a fetish website and had them delivered to his nick.

Married Detective Sergeant Mark Burns is accused of contacting a girl online and paying £20 for her size 6 thong.

She says he then asked her to send them to his police station so his wife would not find out – and admitted he’d had panties posted there before.

– and it was even worse when he asked to send it to the station.

“It’s not what the police should be doing, is it?”

During their online exchange, she claims he asked her to send him pants that she had worn for two days – and if she would make a video for him.

She said: “I only did it because I lost my job and wanted to earn a bit of extra money. I took a couple of pictures of my bum in my underwear and stuck them on the website.”

Next to the snaps she put the message: “Selling my used panties to all you dirty boys – however you want them.”



She said: “I saw that some girls were selling knickers for £25 a pair. You can pick up a pack of 12 from Primark for £1.50, so I thought it was easy money.”

She said she received a message from the officer this week complimenting her bottom.

She sent him some photos and he then asked for “hot pink thongs” that had been worn
for 48 hours – and provided her with the address of a police station in Preston.

He also asked if she had any red or animal-print thongs.

She said: “I was pretty shocked when he sent me the address of a police station. He was very forward about it.

“He really wanted my pink dirty knickers – I never imagined a man in a position of trust would be such a pervert.

“It’s quite worrying when he’s working around victims of crime.”

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “This matter has been referred to our Professional Standards Department who are undertaking an investigation.

“The officer has been placed on alternative duties while this investigation is carried out.”
