    In a letter to the court, Davidson said: “I really can’t remember anything that happened. I am disgusted with my behaviour. I’m very sorry.”

    Davidson had been placed on the Sex Offenders Register ahead of sentencing, but a spokesman for the court told
    he was removed from it on Tuesday after the sheriff said he did not consider the sexual element of the case to be “significant”.
